Describe one action you perform, such as Water, Fertilize, Clean, Replace, or Check. Each Care Task has its own schedule.
Set a simple day, week, month, or year interval, or choose No schedule when you want to record care manually without an automatic due date.
When you perform the action, use its nearby completion control. Provider records the completion and calculates the next due date for scheduled care.
Provider of Things is a calm Apple app for remembering recurring care. A Provider is the thing you care for, and a Care Task is one action associated with it.
You can track plants, ferments, filters, appliances, instruments, aquariums, compost, personal equipment, and other things that need care over time.
A Care Task is an independent action such as Water, Feed, Fertilize, Prune, Clean, Replace, Descale, Rotate, Check, or Charge. One Provider can have multiple Care Tasks.
Provider supports simple day, week, month, and year intervals. You can also choose No schedule for manual tracking without an automatic due date.
Provider records a completion event, updates the task’s last-done information, and calculates the next due date when the task has a schedule. Completing one task does not change another task’s schedule.
Yes. Needs Attention surfaces scheduled Care Tasks that are due, coming up, or past due, with the Provider and action shown together.
Yes. A Provider can use an emoji, SF Symbol, one photo selected through Apple’s system photo picker, or an Apple Image Playground image when supported by the device and operating system.
No. Provider does not use a separate Provider account, email login, password, or custom server. App data is designed to stay within your Apple ecosystem.
The project is built for macOS, iPhone, and iPad using a shared SwiftUI codebase. The macOS experience uses a sidebar and a broader detail layout, while iPhone and iPad adapt to their available space.
